A former Greenwich resident was found murdered in her New York City apartment Sunday morning, allegedly stabbed to death by her live-in boyfriend.
Sarah Coit, a 23-year-old who attended Greenwich High School and whose parents still live in Riverside, was found in her living room at 2:30 a.m., Sunday with multiple stab wounds, reports indicate. She was pronounced dead at Beth Israel Hospital shortly thereafter.
After she was found, her boyfriend, Raul Barrera, 33, turned himself into police. He is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bail.
