GREENWICH, Conn. One burn victim has been reported as a result of a fire in a building at 169 Mason St. in Greenwich on Tuesday evening. The Stamford and Greenwich fire departments have responded to the scene.
The Greenwich Fire Department called Stamford Fire & Rescue asking for a Rapid Intervention Team to be on the scene in case a firefighter needed to be rescued, Stamford fire Capt. Michael Terenzio said. Engine 3 from the West Side Station in Stamford was dispatched to the building but was not needed. Greenwich Fire appeared to have the blaze under control, he said.
