Manhattan fashion designer Beata Boman was arrested in Greenwich on charges of stealing an $11,000 fur-lined scarf from Richards on Greenwich Avenue on Monday.
Boman, 38, of 123 E. 56th St., was stopped in front of Richards after the department stores security director reported a larceny. Boman admitted to stealing the scarf and said she would return it. She was arrested on a charge of larceny. She was released on $5,000 bond and is due in court June 20.
