FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Cold temperatures followed by a possible nor’easter are expected to make their way into Fairfield County this week.

According to the National Weather Service temperatures are expected to fall into the 20’s and 30’s by Sunday night.

The weather service is forecasting a possible storm to hit the coast line by Wednesday and Thursday. The storm could have the potential to bring strong winds, rain, coastal flooding and further beach erosion to the area.

Rain and snow is likely to start early Wednesday morning and will continue throughout the day into Thursday.

Those without power from Hurricane Sandy last week should take caution and be prepared for several cold nights ahead.

Run and take cover Ridgefield. Its time to take a deep breath and its only November.

OLD TIMER:

It may, but it is November and nobody should be surprised.
