GREENWICH, Conn. Downed utility wires caused the closure of Lake Avenue in Greenwich early Friday afternoon, police reported.
The road was closed to through traffice until further notice between 49 Lake Ave. and the Lake Avenue Circle. The Greenwich Hospital Emergency Room can still be accessed from Lafayette Place, according to Lt. Kraig Gray, spokesman for the department.
