Stamford Police launched a criminal investigation into the death of 2-month-old Bella Redondo of New Canaan after the State's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner found that she had died of blunt force trauma to the head. Bella was taken by ambulance from Little Bears Beginnings Daycare after she began having trouble breathing, but doctors at the hospital found evidence of head trauma, police said.
