It was hardly a relaxing day at the beach Thursday for a woman whose cell phone was grabbed and thrown in the water by the father of her children. The man, who had custodial visitation with his three children, took them to a Greenwich beach and unexpectedly ran into the woman there. Police said Adrian Marcus, 43, of 44 Riverside Ave. took the woman's phone and argued with her. He then threw the phone into the water. It was eventually recovered. He was charged with breach of peace, criminal mischief, larceny and robbery. He was being held on a $1,000 bond and was due in court Friday.
