CT State Police Seek Info On Road Rage Incident With Shots Fired

Connecticut state police are investigating a road rage incident which included shots fired.

State police from Troop I in Bethany said that at about 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, they initiated a probe of the incident that occurred on Route 8 north near exit 27 in Naugatuck. The roadway clash resulted in gunshots being fired, police said.

Upon speaking with the victim, it was determined that the unidentified operator of a pick-up truck fired several shots at the victim's vehicle before exiting route 8 northbound via the exit 27 off-ramp. 

The suspect vehicle was described as a dark green pick-up truck with white trim, a ladder rack and a yellow plow. 

No injuries were reported.
