Cos Cob Man Charged With DWI

A Cos Cob man driving erratically on River Road on Monday night was arrested after admitting to police, "You got me, I'm drunk." Scott Sill, 29, of 96 Valley Road, was driving faster than the speed limit and struck curbs on River Road, then rear-ended another car. Sill failed all field sobriety tests and was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, following too close, unsafe movement and traveling fast. Sill posted $250 bond and was to appear in court Oct. 22.

• Franklin E. Leon, 31, of 470 Wood Ave., Bridgeport was arrested after allegedly driving his yellow pickup truck with a suspended license. Leon was driving suspiciously on the Post Road on Tuesday night when police stopped him. Leon had no driver's license in his possession because his license was suspended as of December. Upon running a check with the state Department of Motor Vehicles, police also found Leon had suspended vehicle insurance. He was arrested on charges of operating under suspension, operating a vehicle without insurance and operating a vehicle without a license. Leon was released after posting a $1,000 bond and was due in court Oct. 20.
