Donald Luciano, 45, was sentenced to 24 months in prison and five years of probation after he was convicted on July 18, 2013, in Florida for possession of child pornography, according to Deirdre M. Daly, U.S. attorney for Connecticut.
In addition to having unauthorized contact with children, Luciano – who moved to Connecticut in October 2014 – used unauthorized computers, traveled out of state on multiple occasions without permission, associated with felons and failed to give truthful answers and reports to the U.S. Probation Court, according to authorities.
Luciano, who has been in police custody since Aug. 1, 2016, will again face a host of conditions when he is released from prison, according to Daly. He will live in a halfway house for six months immediately following his release and then will remain on probation for the following 4 ½ years, she said.
According to Daly, Luciano is still facing larceny charges in Connecticut in connection to another incident.
