The work will go from July 8 to July 26, the DOT said. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The project consists of bridge deck and concrete repairs to the I-684 southbound bridge over Tamarack Swamp in Greenwich. Motorists can expect lane closures on I-684 southbound between Exit 2 and Exit 3 in Greenwich. Signs will be used to guide motorists through the work zone.

The schedule may be changed or extended due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

This project is included in the DOT's 2013 bridge maintenance program. Mohawk Northeast will make the bridge repairs.
