GREENWICH, Conn. -- A report in Bloomberg is highlighting a new trend of raising houses with hydraulic jacks, pylons and stilts in preparation for future storms that may affect the area like Superstorm Sandy.

The Bloomberg article also explores how Greenwich is one of the first municipalities to adopt revised flood map from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
