A Greenwich man was arrested Saturday night after pushing his wife into the tub in which she was bathing their daughter. When police arrived at the couple's Stanwich Road home, the girl reportedly told them, "Daddy was pushing Mommy and that was not very nice." The mother said she was giving her daughter a bath when her husband tried to force her out of the bathroom by grabbing her by the wrists. The police report said he ended up pushing her into the tub with their daughter. The man said he grabbed and pushed his wife because he wanted to spend time with his daughter. He was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor. He posted a $1,000 bond and was due in court Monday.

Officers stopped Michael Hailey, 28, of 16 Plymouth Ave., Norwalk, Saturday morning while he was driving and found that his license was suspended. They also discovered he had an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Hailey was released on a $1,500 bond and is to appear in court Sept. 20.
