Arrested Woman Provided Fake IDs

A woman who was a passenger in a stolen car was arrested on charges of interfering with an officer when she provided fake identities to Greenwich police Wednesday. Robin Anne Dematteo, 46, of 50 Hillandale Ave., Stamford, was removed from the stolen car and gave officers four different names and birthdates when identifying herself. At the station, Dematteo provided her correct identity. Upon further investigation, police found several failure to appear warrants for her and learned she had an extensive drug history. She was held on a $1,000 bond and is to appear in court Oct. 6.
