Anita Krayeski, Volunteer at Greenwich Hospital

A memorial service was planned for Wednesday, Feb. 16, for Anita Krayeski, a longtime Greenwich resident who died Feb. 12. She was 90 years old. The service will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sherwood Avenue, Greenwich.

Krayeski was born in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School. After receiving her college degree, she went on to work as a bookkeeper for John E. Merritt Agency, where she met her husband, Bernard. The couple moved to Greenwich shortly after their marriage and lived in town for many years.

In their free time, Krayeski and her husband enjoyed playing golf at the Tamarack Country Club and skiing during the winter months. Krayeski also volunteered her time at Greenwich Hospital. In her later years, she lived in the King Street Nursing Home.

She is survived by her sons, Ken and Tom. Memorial donations can be made to the King Street Nursing Employees Fund, 787 King Street, Rye Brook, NY, 10753.
