'48 Hours' Finds New Evidence In Death Of Greenwich Man On Cruise Ship

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The CBS News show "48 Hours" will examine new evidence in the case of George Smith IV of Greenwich, who vanished on his honeymoon cruise more than seven years ago.

CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports for "48 Hours: Murder at Sea?" The show will air at 10 p.m. Saturday, May 11 on CBS.

The promo teases "important new evidence -- a videotape in the hands of the FBI made by some of the last men to see George alive."

Miller says, "You've got these men joking about George's death, very callous and at one point incriminating."

Smith disappeared on July 5, 2005, at the age of 26 while on his honeymoon cruise with his wife, Jennifer Hagel-Smith, aboard a Royal Caribbean ship. His body has never been found.
