2 Arrested When Quarrel Turns Violent in Greenwich

Both members of an ex-couple were arrested on Mason Street in Greenwich on Wednesday after an argument turned violent. Nabil Faridi, 26, of 2131 Wallace Ave., the Bronx, N.Y., was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after fighting with his ex-boyfriend, Lucas Moura, 26, of 180 Broad St., Stamford, who was also charged with disorderly conduct. Both men inflicted minor injuries on the other. They were released from the scene on a written promise to appear in court Dec. 30.

Also from the police blotter:

• Mearl V. Davis, 49, of 53 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. An off-duty officer saw Davis in a car parked in front of a jewelry store on Lewis Street. A check of the car found an active warrant for Davis's arrest on charges of evading responsibility. Multiple officers responded to the scene and searched the car, finding 7.5 grams of marijuana. Davis was issued a summons and given a court date of Jan. 12. Davis was then turned over to the State Police for the active warrant.

• John Lester Coloma, 33, of 24 Sherman Ave., Greenwich, was arrested Wednesday on charges of disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief after police responded to a report of a man kicking in the door at his home. Coloma had reportedly become enraged and attempted to kick in the door of the house. He was unable to post a $2,500 bond and was due in court Thursday.
