What's Happening in Greenwich This Weekend

GREENWICH, Conn. – St. Patrick’s Day luncheons, a documentary screening and a Greenwich Symphony concert are some of the events planned for the weekend in Greenwich. 

Friday

• St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon, 10:30 a.m.: The seventh Annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon at Executive Corner Deli & Catering, 299 Mill St. in Byram; $8.95. 

• Free exhibit tours at Bruce Museum, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: Exhibit tours are free with price of admission on Fridays at the Bruce Museum; call 203-869-6786 for more information.

• “Wall Street Conspiracy” documentary screening, 5:45 p.m.: The documentary explores the naked short selling that had an enormous impact on the 2008 collapse of the U.S. economy. The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on March 1; Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich; free.

• Friday night games at the Greenwich Boys & Girls Club, 6 to 9 p.m.: Middle school members of the Boys & Girls Club can swim, participate in game room tournaments, and dodge ball games on Fridays at the clubhouse; call 203-869-3224 for more information.

• Girl Scout Shabbat, 6:30 p.m.: Greenwich Reform Synagogue hosts Girl Scout Shabbat as part of the Girl Scout Sabbath Celebration Weekend; open to Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts of all denominations; participation patches will be available to purchase for $2 each. • Adoption Connection Meeting, 7:30 p.m.: The Adoption Connection program staff will be available to discuss adoptive family formation options. • Screening of “Our Miss Brooks,” 8 p.m.: The feature Friends Friday Night Film, “Our Miss Brooks,” is an amusing feature based on the beloved radio and TV series; Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium; free.

Saturday – St. Patrick’s Day

• St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon, 10:30 a.m.: The seventh Annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon at Executive Corner Deli & Catering, 299 Mill St. in Byram; $8.95.
