Teens Kick Off Fight Against Alzheimer's With Charity Party In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Alzheimer's Youth Alliance will host its inaugural Stand for Alzheimer's Teen Charity Event on Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Old Greenwich Civic Center in Greenwich.

The event will feature dancing, music and refreshments and officially kicks off the Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer's set for Sunday, Oct 4, in Norwalk.

The Fairfield County Alzheimer’s Youth Alliance is a collaborative effort of high school students representing Brunswick School, Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Country Day, Greenwich High School and Convent of the Sacred Heart. 

The organization’s mission is to raise awareness surrounding the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter through teen-sponsored events and community outreach.
