GREENWICH, Conn. Kick off the summer season and help support a worthwhile charitable agency at Greenwich's Dancin in the Street outdoor festival. The event is a benefit for Family Centers of Greenwich.
This years edition, to be held at the historic Greenwich Armory, includes gourmet food trucks, live music in the beer garden, a giant Ferris wheel and many other surprises. The fund-raiser is designed to be a casual, multi-sensory experience.
It's set for June 2 at 6:30 p.m. Co-chairs are Allison Bourke, Abby Bowers, Pam Caffray, Patti Fast and Nonie Sullivan.
There are several ways residents can get involved. A number of sponsorship levels have been created to help ensure the events success. Underwriter opportunities are also available.
