Alliance Francaise of Greenwich Co-Hosts French Film Series

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Avon Theatre of Stamford is co-hosting a series of French films starting Thursday, May 15.

The Avon Theatre and the Alliance Francaise of Greenwich will present "Claude Chabrol: 1990’s Revisited - 3 Tales of Obsession And Suspense" starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15. The theater is at 272 Bedford St., in Stamford.

Here is the schedule:

"Betty," 1992, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15.

"The Torment," 1994, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12

"The Swindle," 1997, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. July 10.

Tickets are free for carte blanche members; $6 for members and AFG; $8 for students and senior citizens and $11 for nonmembers. Call the Avon box office at 203-967-3660, ext. 2 for tickets.
