Spring Veggies To Sprout at Greenwich Green Market

Has springtime got you craving fresh fruits and vegetables from local vendors? The Greenwich Historical Society is heeding the call with the return of its Green Market.

The Green Market runs May through October, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and from noon to 6 p.m. Fridays. Currently, the society is looking for vendors of dairy, eggs, baked goods, soaps, candles, plants and flowers.

If eating local and sustainable is your thing, then volunteer for the Greenwich Historical Society’s Green Market dinners. Volunteers are needed to assist with planning, setup, décor, hospitality, research and securing donations.

To suggest vendors, volunteer and support the historical society, get in contact by calling 203-869-6899.
