So River House members were glad to see Polar Pete’s Ice Cream Truck pull up to their front door this past Friday, July 1.

Thanks to the generosity of Greenwich Bank & Trust, both members and staff were treated to a refreshing afternoon snack on National Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day.

“The ice cream was just delicious. This was wonderful,” said Florence Mason, River House member.

David Moore, vice president of commercial lending at Greenwich Bank & Trust, said: “We continue to sponsor this event because we see it as an opportunity to not only do some good in the community, but also to bring happiness to others. The part I enjoy most is seeing how a simple ice cream treat can brighten someone’s day.”

The seniors and staff of River House were very grateful to Greenwich Bank & Trust for helping them observe National Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day and for a great beginning to the Fourth of July Weekend.
