Reader Sounds Off on Site of Sept. 11 Memorial

GREENWICH, Conn. — Here is a reader response to the article, "Greenwich Debates Location for 2nd 9/11 Memorial:"

“It should be placed at Grass Island,” said James Ritman, managing director of Newmark Knight Frank.  “I’m on the board working on this and Greenwich Point makes no sense, as people can’t access it. Roger Sherman Baldwin Park is so loud with I-95 traffic that it would be disrespectful to those who it’s intending to serve by not allowing them a peaceful setting for quiet reflection.”
