The event is billed as a day of fun for the whole family, especially for your four-footed bundle of devotion and love. It will be from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 22.

A number of local companies and corporations have donated time and money to be a part of the annual festival. The list of sponsors includes Pet Pantry Warehouse, The Veterinary Cancer Center, Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, Reckson, First County Bank, Fairway Market, Radio Disney, Serendipity, Blue Buffalo, Touch Point and PRAI.

“It takes a village to put on this annual festival which benefits Adopt-A-Dog and we couldn’t do it without the support of the business communities in Fairfield and Westchester counties,” said Allyson Halm, president and executive director of Adopt-A-Dog in a post of the group's Facebook page. “Our partners make it possible for us to put on the largest outdoor event in Greenwich to showcase our shelter, raise much needed funds, and provide a forum for learning about pet adoptions, pet health, pet wellness and exercise, pet food and nutrition.”

The festival is Adopt-A-Dog’s main fundraiser and sponsor monies are critical to help the shelter meet its annual budget, along with ticket sales, proceeds from silent auction items at the festival and private donations.
