Peter Yarrow Takes The Stage At Greenwich Library Sunday

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul and Mary fame, is set to perform at the Greenwich Library this weekend.

Yarrow will perform a 90-minute concert at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Cole Auditorium as part of the Peterson Concert Series. 

"As a member of the renowned musical trio, (Yarrow) has earned many gold and platinum album awards and has been nominated for, and awarded, numerous Grammys," a press release said. "Peter Yarrow's talent as a creative artist - both in a group and as a solo performer - is in using music to convey a message of humanity and caring."

While with Peter, Paul and Mary, Yarrow joined in the recordings of "Puff, the Magic Dragon," "Day is Done," and "Light the Candle."

The Peterson Concert Series is open to all for free through the support of the Peterson Foundation. Doors open for the show at 3 p.m. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
