Norwalk’s Stepping Stones Museum Wins Three Awards

NORWALK, Conn. – Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk recently won three awards – the Excellence Award from the Connecticut Art Directors Club for the museum’s Express Yourself exhibit, a Community Service Award from the Connecticut Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents and a 2014 Ad Club Connecticut Award for the museum’s gala invitation design.

Stepping Stones Museum for Children is a nonprofit organization in Mathews Park. The museum is LEED Gold certified, and encompasses five galleries where children can do hands-on activities. It also houses a multimedia gallery, family and teacher resource center, café and store.

Stepping Stones is at 303 West Ave. off Exit 14 North or 15 South of I-95 in Norwalk. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays from Labor Day through Memorial Day.
