GREENWICH, Conn. – Five new members have joined the board of directors of Neighbor to Neighbor, Greenwich’s food and clothing pantry.
The new members are Greenwich residents Eileen Bartels, Bob Brady, Connie Figgie, Pamela Speer and Liz Van Duyne.
“The varied and meaningful experience this group of community members brings to this board positions us well to continue meeting the needs of our Greenwich neighbors who need our assistance,” Executive Director Nancy Coughlin said in a press release.
“I look forward to working with this board of directors to ensure all local residents have the basic living essentials they need to thrive and succeed in our community.”
Neighbor to Neighbor provided 300,000 meals to more than 660 low-income families in 2013. The organization distributes 17,000 bags of clothes, diapers, linens and other household items each year.
