Millie Tripodi, 74, Greenwich Thrift Shop Worker

GREENWICH, Conn. — Millie B. Tripodi, 74, of Greenwich, died April 4 at Greenwich Hospital.

Born in Mamaroneck, N.Y., she attended Mamaroneck schools. Tripodi owned Papa Bear's Restaurant in Port Chester, N.Y., for many years and also worked at the Greenwich Hospital Thrift Shop.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul Tripodi; a daughter, Susan (Kenny) Herrmann; a son, Joseph Tripodi; two brothers, James Comblo and Charles Comblo, and three grandchildren. Tripodi was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Dominic and Anthony.

Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
