GREENWICH, Conn. – Marie F. Orlando of Cos Cob died June 6 at Greenwich Woods. She was 83.
She was born Oct. 15, 1928, in Greenwich to Grazanio and Florence Genise Franze. Orlando worked as a hairdresser for many years and volunteered with cancer patients. She was a member of the Woman's Club of Greenwich and various gardening clubs.
Orlando was predeceased by her husband, Dario Orlando, and a son, Joseph Orlando. She is survived by John Santoro, who was like a son to her; two grandchildren and a sister-in-law.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich. Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich is handling arrangements.
