GREENWICH, Conn. -- Mark Hopwood, board member of the Stamford-based Lyme Research Alliance and a Lyme-disease patient, will discuss everything you need to know about the disease on Tuesday, March 10, at 10:45 a.m. at Second Congregational Church in Greenwich.

The program, sponsored by The Women's Fellowship of the church, also will include a luncheon, priced at $8.

Hopwood was diagnosed with Lyme disease and related co-infections in 2010 after experiencing symptoms for years.

An advocate for reliable diagnostic tests and effective treatments for Lyme disease, he has discussed the topic with Congress, the media and private groups.

For reservations, call church office manager Gloria LaDestro at 203-869-9311, ext. 20, or email womensfellowship@2cc.org .
