The sixth annual day-long family music festival is planned for Saturday, May 28, at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.
According to GTP organizer, Sara Allard of Case Study Brands, sponsorship packages for individuals and businesses start at $1,250 and provide access to the Sponsor Tent with catered food and full bar. This level also includes preferred parking in the Island Beach parking lot.
Neighbor tickets, which cost $250 apiece, provide access to a designated Neighborhood Area with complimentary food, wine, and beer. Ticket holders will have preferred parking, Allard said.
The festival is also a platform from which to recognize local heroes -- whether they be teacher, coaches, doctors, or firefighters -- the GTP said.
In May, a select number of those nominated for the honor will receive tickets to the party and will be recognized publicly at the event.
Greenwich residents and businesses can submit nominations via email at GTPheroes@greenwichtownparty.org, or on any GTP social media platform by using the hashtag #gtpheroes.
The platforms are:
- Facebook: facebook.com/GreenwichTownParty
- Twitter: Twitter.com/greenwichtown
- Instagram: Instagram.com/GreenwichTownParty
According to organizers, ticket sales, sponsors, and donations from town residents and local businesses provide the majority of party funding each year, allowing more people to attend.
Thanks to the support of sponsors and donors, the GTP said, the community ticket prices have been reduced to a fraction of what they would be for such a large event.
The festival’s headliner act and bands will be announced in early 2016.
The park is located on Arch Street in Greenwich.
