Parents, if your kids have finished frolicking in the snow and the hot chocolate has already been made, you may be pulling at strings for ideas to keep them busy during a snow day. A scavenger hunt can be an entertaining indoor activity that can be played again and again with different clues. Come up with about 10 clues and write them on a piece of paper.
Here is a list of clue ideas:
? Dad's favorite tie
? Matching pair of dirty socks
? Tube of toothpaste
? An object with all the colors of the rainbow
? Fruit snacks (to eat along the way)
? A pack of hot cocoa
? Two black buttons
? Three rocks
? Two short sticks
? One carrot
? One scarf
At the end, have them go build a snowman!
