Richard Attias, who has owned a home in Greenwich, turns 54 on Tuesday. The executive chairman of Richard Attias and Associates was born Nov. 19, 1959, in Fes, Morocco.
He began his career as a sales executive at IBM France and in 1986 became the General Manager of Econocom France and Econocom Japan, a computer leasing company.
During the 1990s, he founded an Event Management Company and produced various global events including the Zurich Insurances, IBM, conventions and Boris Yeltsin's visit to France.
He was the founder and former chairman of PublicisLive, an event company specialized in the conception and production of international conferences and very high profile events.
In 2009, he created Richard Attias and Associates, a U.S. based global communication and strategic consulting company with offices in New York, Paris, Rabat, Dubai that supports government and non-governmental organizations worldwide. He also founded the New York Forum and created the New York Forum AFRICA in 2012.
