After the event, which is being catered by the New Haven Pizza Truck, the children living at Kids in Crisis will enjoy a free pizza meal.

The event in front of the Steven Fox Jewelry location at 8 Lewis St. will be sort of a “pop up café” where people can sit at tables and enjoy their free pizza, according to a press release.

Donations will also be accepted to benefit Kids in Crisis, and information about that organization will be available.

“We are grateful to Steven Fox Jewelry and the New Haven Pizza Truck for this great opportunity to spread awareness about the services Kids in Crisis provides, and for the donations of pizza to our children in residence,” Shari Shapiro, executive director of Kids in Crisis, said in a press release.

“Support and contributions from community partners such as Steven Fox Jewelry help us fulfill our mission of spreading the word and helping all children and families in need.”

The free pizza for community members will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
