Greenwich's Bendheim Civic Center Presents Youth Golf Clinics

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Department of Parks and Recreation will offer youth golf clinics at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Fridays for five weeks, starting March 27.

The course fee for the five-week session is $125. Mail-only registration will begin Monday, March 9. Walk-in registration will begin on Monday, March 16 until classes are full. Join Coach John Czarnecki for an introduction to the fundamentals of golf. Become acquainted with the basics, including proper grip, stance, swing, alignment, balance, course etiquette and rules of the game. Coach Czarnecki holds a certified coaching permit from the state of Connecticut. He has been a golf coach at Greenwich High School since 2005. 

The course is for children 6 to 10 years old. There will be three classes each Friday. Class 1 will be from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Class 2 will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.; and Class 3 will be from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. The course will be held in the Bendheim Western Civic Center Gym and field. Registration is ongoing until all classes are full.
