The tournament, in its seventh year, reached its capacity of teams.
It got its start when a group of teens began pressing for a place to play Wiffle ball in town.
They solidified their cause, learned how to advocate effectively and forged community partnerships with businesses, town government, the United Way, the JR United Way, the Greenwich Police, and other sympathetic parties to run the event.
