The Greenwich Tree Conservancy's "Tree Party" is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, at McCardle's Greenhouse on 48 Arch St. in Greenwich. The party is open to the public.
Greenwich Tree Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that preserves and enhances the tree and forest resources of Greenwich "to benefit the community, its health and its quality of life," according to a press release.
The group has helped plant more than 1,000 trees in Greenwich since 2007, according to the release.
Sponsors of the "Tree Party" include First Republic Bank, US Trust, Bank of America, Private Wealth Management, Fieldpoint Private Bank and Trust, the Bartlett Tree Company, Ann R. Elliman, Hon. Livvy and Dog Floren and Betteridge Jewelers.
The cost for the event is $125 per person for a Hickory Tree ticket, $250 per person for a Walnut Tree ticket, $500 per person for a Chestnut Tree ticket and $1,000 per person for an Oak Tree ticket.
Those who cannot attend but want to donate can do so online. Donations and tickets are available on the Greenwich Tree Conservancy website.
