Greenwich Tree Conservancy Accepts Donation At Party

GREENWICH, Conn. - The Greenwich Tree Conservancy accepted a donation from U.S Trust, Bank of America, at its annual Tree Party celebration.

Marion Schmeelk of U.S Trust, Bank of America, presented the sponsorship check for to Libby King, co-chairwoman of the Tree Party, which was held on Friday, April 25, at McArdle’s Garden Center.

Over 300 people attended the party, enjoying savory hors d’oeuvres from caterer “Happiness Is” and the flower-bedecked ambiance of the Garden Center.

U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., was a special guest and spoke to the party-goers in support of the mission of the Greenwich Tree Conservancy.
