The teens raised the funds at A&P Greenwich during a National Grandparents’ Day event that raised more than $5,000 to benefit various programs.

The JCC Greenwich Teen Action Committee meets once a month during the school year, planning and organizing community service projects for teens. Next month, they plan to help feed the hungry at Masbia, a non-profit soup kitchen and food pantry in Brooklyn.
