GREENWICH, Conn. -- Jack Jones, teen author of the new children's book "Chizi's Tale: The True Story of an Orphaned Black Rhino," talked about his passion for conservation with Prince William during the heir to the British throne's visit to New York City.

Jones was invited to the event by Tusk, a leader in spearheading conservation efforts to aid rhinos and other endangered animals in Africa, to which all the proceeds from the sale of his book will go. The charity, whose Royal Patron is Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge, invests in programs which use conservation as a tool to alleviate poverty, improve education and reduce conflict, while also protecting areas rich in biodiversity.

"Chizi’s Tale" is a heartwarming story about a family of park rangers (a mother, father and their three kids) who adopt a day-old baby black rhino to ensure its survival, all in the wilderness of Zimbabwe. This children’s picture book was written by Jones, a Greenwich, Conn. high school senior, and illustrated by Jacqui Taylor.
