The League of Women Voters Greenwich welcomes members who are interested in affecting the course of advocacy, programs and priorities to a potluck dinner and meeting to discus state and local program planning. The Greenwich Library will host a tribute to the late Irish fiddler, P.V. O'Donnell at 2 p.m. in the Cole Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Alice Bonvenuto at 203-622-7919.
Head over to the Greenwich Civic Center for the Old Greenwich Lion's Club 51st Annual Pancake Fry. There will be door prizes, bake sale items and entertainment for all ages. The event starts at 8 a.m. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door. There will be a $1 discount for children ages 6 to 11, and children under 5 are free. Dr. Jeremy Begbie will host a performance lecture and book signing at the Greenwich Arts Council. The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online . On March 13, Begbie will be a guest speaker during a worship service at Christ Church at 9:30 a.m. A book signing will follow at 10:30 a.m.
