Greenwich Sets Date To Light Town's Christmas Tree

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The annual tree-lighting ceremony will be held in front of Greenwich Town Hall on Friday, Dec. 5 from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m., the Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation has announced.

This year’s ceremony will feature a holiday message from the first selectman, a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty and Rudolf, and Mechanical Polar Bear, and Reindeer Rides.

The Greenwich High School Chamber Singers will also sing holiday songs.

Cider, hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes will be served.
