Will Gray wrote this letter to the editor in response to the April 8 article in The Daily Greenwich Residents Want Greenwich Leaf Blower Ban.
Let's ban these horrible things [for the sake] . . . of anyone who's ever had to listen to this noise all day, or walk through a cloud of dust kicked up by them, or had their car sandblasted by them. They waste fuel, they're smelly and it seems like most of the time their users are just moving dirt around, blowing it into the road where it soon ends up back where it was again. It's make-work, it's annoying and it needs to stop. Pick up a broom or a rake instead.
