Greenwich Reads Together Plans Programs For 'The Boys In The Boat'

GREENWICH, Conn. – The Steering Committee for Greenwich Reads Together 2014 has released its program lineup. This year’s book is "The Boys in the Boat" by Daniel James Brown.

A number of events based on the book have been planned for the month of October, including a visit from the author Brown. Other programs will center on politics and the Olympics, rowing demonstrations, story-telling, film-screening, and a panel discussion about rowing in the area, among others. Discussions for adults, teens and children will take place throughout Greenwich. Greenwich Reads Together is designed to engage the entire community in experiencing the same book. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend the many free, public programs.
