This dish, which is not typically found on the organization’s menu, will be catered by Planet Pizza of Fairfield.

The pizza will be provided to residents of the mission’s New Life Discipleship Program, which is designed to help participants overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol. It will also be served to people who come to the mission for meals on a daily basis.

“We are grateful for our relationship with Needs Clearing House, who has provided us with their financial support as well as gifts of food and linens,” said Terry Wilcox, executive director of the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

The generosity of The Needs Clearing House doesn’t stop here. It will be also providing The Disability Resource Network with a pizza lunch.

“We are grateful for our relationship with Needs Clearing House which has provided us with their financial support as well as gifts of food and linens” says Wilcox.
