GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Library is holding a free seminar on learning to guard what matters most: health, life and the people you love.

The Health Matters seminar will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the second floor meeting room of the Greenwich Library. Come to a discussion about steps you may take to guard and protect the important things in your life.

Robin DuCharme Pastore is a Smith College graduate, Greenwich Chamber of Commerce member, Greenwich resident for nearly three decades and licensed in Connecticut, New York and Texas to discuss these important matters. The "sandwich generation" will also be addressed: people managing needs of their children and parents simultaneously.

The discussion will focus on:

  • protecting your lifestyle and health;
  • managing the needs of children and parents simultaneously;
  • figuring out what to do if your doctor or hospital stops accepting your insurance; and
  • planning ahead with your options on short- and long-term health concerns.

The library is located at 101 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required but RSVP is requested at or phone or text: 203-249-7871 because there will be refreshments.
