In "From Russia with Love," the criminal organization SPECTRE seeks revenge on James Bond 007 (Sean Connery) by luring him into a trap involving a sought-after Russian code machine and a beautiful Soviet defector.

A timely and intelligent plot reflects the Cold War reality of the era, in which capitalist and communist forces are set against each other.
