GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Daily Voice accepts original, signed letters to the editor. Submit your letter to greenwich@dailyvoice.com .

To the editor:

On Nov. 5, we urge your support of Peter Tesei for First Selectman and Dave Theis for Selectman.

Both of us have worked closely with the First Selectman over the years.  Bea currently serves him as Greenwich’s Ambassador-at-Large. Peter was on the Board of Selectmen during his first term and currently assists him via the Selectmen’s Nominations Advisory Committee (SNAC).

In other words, we have seen Peter Tesei “up close” and can say with confidence that he is competent, dedicated, knowledgeable, caring and fiscally conservative.  Up for his fourth term and a steady hand at the wheel, Greenwich should keep electing him for as long as he keeps running.

We have also known Dave Theis for many years and enthusiastically support him as well.  He is a multi-generational Greenwich resident with a long list of current and past volunteer activities.

These include: Vice chairman of the Republican Town Committee, member of SNAC, founding member of the CT Chapter of NFL Alumni Charities, president of the Cos Cob Republican Club, president of the Greenwich Old Timers Athletic Association, board member Greenwich YMCA, volunteer for Adopt-a-Dog and member of the Greenwich Masonic Lodge.  He is a patriot through and through -- one of the most friendly and approachable people we know.

Please join us in voting for the Tesei/Theis ticket on Election Day.

Bea Crumbine, Ambassador-at-Large

Peter Crumbine, Former Selectman
