Volunteers at the event will make "SunnyGram" greeting cards using crayons, markers and stickers to bring cheer to children and families who needs some sunshine in their lives.

The 30Every30 organization is a youth volunteer program in Greenwich focuses on creating opportunities for youth to donate their time, 30 minutes every 30 days. The events where young residents can volunteer are with military men and women from Greenwich, hospice care, Greenwich Public Schools, and cancer support.

"30Every30 provides parents with events that are tailor-made and age appropriate to teach our children the importance of donating their time and being a part of their community. I hope to see you at the launch October 6th event,” Tesei said in a statement.

To participate in future events join 30Every30 to provide feedback on the type of events that are important in the community and to receive emails for future events.
